Mr. Steve Blank. Founder of E.piphany. Teaches at Stanford Engineering, Haas Business School, and Columbia University. His talk -- "The Secret History of Silicon Valley" -- starts with the WWII bomber problem in Europe and walks us through how Silicon Valley came to be a technical center. His focus is on the contributions of the air force secret technology efforts and the impact of that technology on the genesis. |
